The April Star Theatre Whisky event is set, during which we will be 'christening with some regal spirit'.
This month will be utilising (for the first time) The Star Theatre's new custom built function space.
Numbers are strictly limited to 25 whisky tasting participants so hesitate at your peril!
The Tasmanian whisky for April will be from Hobart Whisky, with Distillery Manager John Jarvis joining via livestream.
Attendees will have the opportunity to have a VERY early taste of their Porter Beer Cask Finish, the first of four 2021 releases from the Beer Cask Series by Hobart Distillery.
Limited Hobart Whisky Bottle sales will also be available for off-licence purchase.
The evening will then feature Scotch whisky distilled at Miltonduff, one of the oldest located in the 'Speyside' region of Scotland and a staple component of the Chivas Regal and Ballantines Blends.
Graham Wright from "The Odd Whisky Coy" will be joining via livestream to share his experience and knowledge as an official agent for Scottish independent spirits bottler 'Blackadder'.
This event will (of course) conclude with a single malt, natural cask strength bottling from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) - not available in stores - with Tom Rofe (SMWS TAS State Manager) on hand for expert opinions and moustache waxing tips.
$75 Cost includes:
